The spring season brings plenty of anticipation to the Smoky Mountains as warmer weather starts to fill the air and beautiful wildflowers begin to bloom. However, the start of spring also means that Dollywood is opening their gates for another season of fun! The park features many popular festivals throughout their operating year, and the spring season kicks off with the Festival of Nations. Location of the Event
The Festival of Nations takes place entirely within Dollywood theme park, just minutes from the Valley Forge Inn! The entrance to Dollywood is located on McCarter Hollow Road in Pigeon Forge, and the official park address is 2700 Dollywood Parks Boulevard, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863.
Festival Dates and Admission Information
Dollywood’s Festival of Nations takes place from March 18 to April 19 on all park operating days. Note that the park is not open daily until the summer season, so be sure to check out Dollywood’s operating calendar before scheduling your visit! One admission fee to Dollywood covers the Festival of Nations, as well as access to all of the park’s other shows, rides and attractions.
Performers Appearing at the Festival of Nations
Guests attending the Dollywood Festival of Nations can expect to see a wonderful selection of entertainment from around the globe in the form of music and dance! Here are just some of the performers that will be appearing this year:
Mother Africa
This amazing show combines modern and traditional dance, acrobatics, comedy and colorful costumes set to the music of a renowned live band.
Kelly Shipe
The streets are filled with the beautiful and haunting sounds of the highland bagpipes as Kelly Shipe shares her extensive list of tunes and award winning skills.
Streichmusik Alder
Experience the tradition and music of the Swiss Alps with this talented group of performers who present the unique sounds of the alphorn and other folk instruments. The musicians also present yodeling and tales of the Swiss mountain culture.
Atahualpa
Witness traditional music, fun and dance as these talented musicians share the culture and history of the Andes Mountains.
Slask
Clap along to a folk dance and music ensemble of more than 30 dancers in hundreds of handmade, embroidered costumes that represent the various regions of Poland.
