Experience a bird’s eye view of the Smoky Mountains and Pigeon Forge from the top of the Great Smoky Mountain Wheel! At 200 feet tall, this incredible Ferris wheel is not only the centerpiece to the Island but one of the tallest attractions in the southeastern United States! The gondolas feature glass on all sides to offer stunning views in every direction, so see if you can spot the Valley Forge Inn once you get to the top! The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel offers a variety of ticket options, including a special day and night combination ticket where you can ride twice for two totally different perspectives.

2. The Island Ropes Course

For another fun attraction at the Island in Pigeon Forge TN, check out the Island Ropes Course! This attraction is actually composed of two different courses, the Sky Tykes course and the Sky Trail Explorer course. The Sky Tykes course is great for kids under 48” tall who prefer to be closer to the ground where parents can walk along to provide encouragement. The Sky Trail Explorer course is perfect for adults and for children over 42” tall who want a bigger challenge. This three-story course features 30 different elements, two zip lines and even an optional simulated freefall!

3. The Island Mirror Maze

Step into one of the country’s largest mirror mazes at the 3,000 square foot Island Mirror Maze! Try your skills at navigating through a labyrinth filled with endless reflections, countless illusions and tricky dead ends! This fun-filled maze will have you challenging your senses to see if you can make it successfully to the exit. If you are lucky enough to escape the maze, try your luck at the Vault Laser Maze Challenge where you must jump, crawl and bend your way through a network of lasers in a goal to achieve the top spot on the leaderboard!

4. Island Bumper Cars

If you have ever been to the bumper cars at a carnival or amusement park, you haven’t seen anything yet! The Island Bumper Cars take the traditional bumper car experience to the next level with unique circular cars and dual lever steering controls that allow you to go in any direction. The cars also feature flashing LED lights to add to the excitement! Ride during the daytime to see the tropical scenery or go for spin in the evening when the Island Bumper Cars transform into cosmic night rides!
